Dr. Lacy
School Psychologist
I was born and raised in Kentucky and my roots run deep in my home state. I grew up in a small town, where everyone knew everyone!
I did my undergraduate studies at DePaul University in Chicago, IL. I moved to Washington, D.C. to begin my graduate studies at Howard University, where I received a Masters and Doctor of Philosophy degree in Clinical Psychology. I have worked in the District of Columbia Schools as a school psychologist since 2007. Prior to joining DCPS, I worked at the Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents in Rockville, MD, the Department of Juvenile Justice, and in private practice. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my son, Ethan, walking my dog, Bailey, reading, and being active in my church. I am so honored to be working with the staff, students, and families of the Ludlow-Taylor community. My best method of contact is via email, [email protected]. |
Ebony Burton
School Social Worker
Hello! My name is Ebony Burton and I am the full-time social worker at LTES. I recently moved to Washington D.C. from Southern California and I love the history and culture here. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and I have been doing medical social work for the last 10 years prior to transitioning to school based social work. I attained my undergraduate degree in Race and Ethnic Studies from the University of Redlands and my Masters of Social Work from the University of Southern California. I am a mother of two and in my free time I enjoy traveling with my family, trying new restaurants, and watching HGTV! I love connecting with students and families as whole. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if I can be a resource.
I can be reached at [email protected] or at (478) 420-0027. |

Greeting LTES Families! I am a part-time school social worker offering social emotional services to the school community. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who has been practicing for 5 years in the DC area. I am originally from Upstate New York and moved to this area 8 years ago to join City Year. Although I miss my family, I love the DC area and all of the local food and art opportunities.
